St. George Greenmarket

Year Round - every Saturday until 1pm, the market is set up at St Marks Place and Hyatt Street. All are welcome to check it out! Here's the website with current info and this is a stellar market among the 50+ GreenMarkets in NYC. Give your local farmer your appreciation - it's the hardest job of all.

Sunnyside Greenmarket

Year Round! Saturdays until 3PM! Find this market at Skillman Avenue & 43rd Street in Sunnyside Queens. Check out the details of this sunny market here - there is composting (hopefully continuing) and textile dropoff, check the hours, though.

Testing out a route for you using the new Local Food Icons - both destinations, the Farm Museum and Alley Pond Environmental Center, are stellar!  This is not a real route. Do you have a great local food or compost ride you would like to share? Turn on Strava or another GPX file app, and send us the file - apple@greenmap.org - include contact info, please.

This is a seasonal market and is geared toward 'grab and go' so more prepared foods and ready to eat choices. It's got the fabulous Alamo sculpture and is a convenient central meeting point (with #6 train) .
